    And therein lies the rub.

I know everything I personally need to know; they are not biblical and it is not up to me to judge them. Besides you could devote your entire life to study religions and various beliefs and still not touch them all. If Jesus is God taken on flesh I don't see God sending a bunch of otherwise good people to hell. I think that is where people become angry with religion and churches. They feel judged when who the hell are you to judge me. I don't go to church because I am mad too. I spent thousands of dollars there and volunteered for everything just to have them determine my lifestyle (beer) is unacceptable to God. I'll take my chances.

Man's inhumanity is well documented in our own history as well as the history of the world. Yes there were probably worse examples than the USA, but probably not for Native Americans or African Slaves. There is really no way to right those wrongs, but with the promise to be a more tolerant society we can prevent them in the future.

You are certainly qualified to speak of the Native Americans, having lived and worked with them for so many years. Maybe not from the younger guys so much, but their elder relatives must have quite a few stories for you. Most of them sad. All you can do is your part and show them that "all white men not same". We're counting on you.
