Your program helps GCSAA members find quality education that is affordable, accessible and attainable. Programs are reviewed for quality of content.
Must be relevant to golf course management
Supports the GCSAA competencies
Have a minimum program length of a quarter of an hour
Be non-commercial in nature
Approved programs are listed in the education section of GCSAA.org. Education held during the GCSAA Golf Championships or Conference and Trade Show, within a 100-mile radius of the host cities will not be approved for education points.
Submit your external education application for our review of your program’s content. Approved programs are available for the calendar year. Programs are reviewed annually for renewal. Offerings of the program can be submitted with the application or later, as scheduled.

Email external.ed.applications@gcsaa.org with the date and city/state location of the offering. If you have multiple offerings, create a spreadsheet and reference the program code. You must have an assigned program code to schedule offerings.
It allows time for follow up questions and processing time. In addition, events are posted on gcsaa.org, and submitting 30 days in advance provides time to promote your event.
No. Chapter meetings are eligible for EITHER education or service points, but never both.
For chapter meetings with approved education, 0.10 education points are awarded per contact hour. Record Your Points form.
Chapter meetings without pre-approved education are eligible for 0.10 service points. Meetings must be registered by the chapter representative using the Chapter Event Codes and Points form.
