    their, there, they're bobby!

For all you conservatives out there, this one is yours.

Heck No Scott....I wouldn't claim fame to either Party...Repub's are just as goofy as the Demo's......Kinda like the best of the worst though.....We're doomed,We're doomed,We're doomed, Conservative talk I know

It is glaringly apparent some unclaimed fall into the "goofy" category as well.

ESL strikes again. Your is a possessive adjective, used to describe something as belonging to you. You're is the contraction of "you are" and is often followed by the present participle. I stayed awake in English class.

Maybe should teach it then Kieth...or Keith....I before E except after C.....And I don't think your Goofy

The right would take away their ability to have an abortion or use birth control (a position these folks seem to like) and Christians (who tend to be conservative) say this is God's will. Once the babies are born both sides are obliged to take care of them. What would be their motivation to vote for liberals?

The only one in recent history who made a dent in welfare checks for these folks was Bill Clinton. Neither of the Bushes did much because the money associated with these checks was a bargain because they considered these kids cheap cannon fodder. The left wants to give these kids hope and educations, which is actually cheaper than giving them inadequate supplies and numbers to fight two wars.

It was when I went to college starting in 1976. I had to borrow money, but I also received Pell Grants and more generous grants from the college than my kids' received. Kids today do not qualify for Pell Grants as easily and their student loans end up being the price of a house. Jobs pay less starting out. My kids made got educations with extreme grades (2 girls) and Army Service (2 boys). I suppose a righty might say anyone could do that, but I believe you have to have been born with certain attributes to achieve very high grades or adjust to the military. I could do the high grades, but I could never have done the military* and it is easy for me to imagine there are those who could do neither.

*If the draft had been in effect I would have made it. My father prepared me for that when I was a little boy.

Good information Steve, we see who has their hands in congress's pockets.

I can understand the government helping out with some subsidies to help emerging technologies get off the ground, it seems even with the lower taxes the private investors do not want to take the risks. I would be willing to hear some smart debates on the issues.

That's an oxymoron. You can't use smart and debate in the same sentence concerning politics...

Steve being a communist is not news......what's new. Scott I do not think any one in this country has a problem obtaining an abortion if they really want one (there may be some excpetions) and birth control is easily obtained. They pass it out in elementrary schools now.

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush said today that both Ronald Reagan and his father George H. W. Bush would have had a difficult time getting nominated by today's ultra-conservative Republican Party.

"Ronald Reagan would have, based on his record of finding accommodation, finding some degree of common ground, as would my dad — they would have a hard time if you define the Republican party — and I don't — as having an orthodoxy that doesn't allow for disagreement, doesn't allow for finding some common ground," Bush said, adding that he views the hyper-partisan moment as "temporary."
