As we enter mid-April, we have seen many things have changed over the past 6 weeks right before our eyes! First we hope you and your family are safe during this difficult time. A shout out to your chapter leaders. GCSAA and your chapter have been working in concert to ensure you have resources and information at your fingertips. Chapter leaders are also there to provide the information needed to perform your job, while adhering to CDC and health guidelines.
With the New Year comes the start of many regional shows in the Central Plains. Recently, Iowa and Nebraska held their respective turf conferences and were met with great success.
This past August, GCSA of South Dakota Secretary/Treasurer Rick Wit of Rapid City organized a great meeting with members in the area. I also paid a visit to facilities, members and non-members in Western Kansas.
Travels this month took me to Florida and Oregon, as well as Kansas and Missouri. In addition, this month staff completes its annual review cycle and it was important to have administrative office time to complete the task.
