I have 2 new Gp400's 15 blade reels , that leave clippings all over the greens. Our local service tech from the distributor has changed the shields , flipped the roller scrapers and adjusted everything he and the factory can come up with, to no avail.Factory rep says wait until there dry then it won't happen. Tell the golfers they can't play until after lunch! Anyone else had the problem and been able to solve it. We mow greens and blow them off every day. In 50 years I have never had this problem.

We had one at my last course with the same issue. The buckets were positioned where the grass was being thrown under the bucket. We did some modifications to improve the situation but never got it to my satisfaction, still left clumps when dew was heavy. I am sure you have checked that already. Good Luck!

We are dealing with the same problem.  Is it possible there are many blades and the air movement is restricted?  We do not have the staff to go out and air dry nor dew whip the greens before hand.  Does anyone have problems with this on 11 blade units?  That will be our next course of action as we have this unit for 2 more yrs on a lease!

Had this same issue. Get rid of the rear roller scrapers. Either get a rear roller brush system or what we do is just have the operator clean the rear rollers manually after each green, depending on growth.

    Ever tried to attach groomers?
Most reels in Europe are equipped with groomers and can solve the problem.

In the early 1990,s I had the same problem, the solution was to adjust the bottom of the scraper to a hairs width above the height of cut. I had to play with the gap till i had it where it would scrape the roller and not leave clumps. I admit it was a pain in the ass to keep adjusted but it did work. the tool I used to set the scraper was a drill bit I had to play with fractional letter and number bits till I found the right one.

I was at the GIS and asked Jac about this.  The only remedy they said was move the shield down to where it darn near hits the reel.  Beings i'm up north will not be able to try for a few months if someone else can do this earlier and see results please post!  Thanks
