We have a seal leaking on the wheel motor and to get to it need to remove wheel hub.  What is the best way, a 3 jaw puller?  The gap is about an 1/8" between the hub and the shield.  Its a pressed fit with a key.  Appreciate any help, thanks

A puller like this https://www.otctools.com/products/universal-hub-puller-tool-wrench works well. It is wise to purchase a fourth leg for those times when there are an even number of studs. The seal visible from the outside is typically a dust seal. The seal that will fix the leak is internal and will require the motor to be partially disassembled to install. Look for wear on the shaft at the sealing surfaces and inspect the bearings as well. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Before your put the puller on put the shaft nut on a couple of turns so the puller and brake drum don't fall on the floor.
