Weak spark Yamaha golf car Cancel The title field is required!

   What would be the source of weak spark on a 2007 Yamaha golf car?
   While the engine cranks the spark starts strong and then seems to fade.

   I would look at the ignition coil, especially if it starts off strong and then weakens. I have had this problem before on Yamaha and even Kawasaki engines on John Deere 2500B triplexes. If you have another coil available or one you can take off engine you know running fine and try that.
