   anyone used shaws xrt fertilizer?  ive used shaws surfcote with good success, but curious about this coating technology, any info would help thanku.

   Nicholas, I've been using Shaws XRT for about 4 years. Great product. I've never had a problem with the coating. Just make sure to water it in and if  possible skip one day of mowing. This way you don't break the  coating. If the coating is broke you will get a huge flush of growth and basically that application was a waste of time and money. I put down two apps of XRT. One in the spring with barricade and the second app in mid or end of July. The second app keeps me green until the end of October. My understanding of the coating that its temperature driven in the soil.
