Looking for a new equipment lift for turf equipment.  Anyone have a favorite?  Trays vs. wheel lifts?  Thanks, Jesse Goodling.

We purchased the Golf Lift GL-9 about 16 years ago.  This is the only lift I have experience with and it has served us well.

I have always liked the Golf Lift GL-9 the best, until i used a Rotary lift with the front forks and
rear tray attachments. That one was much easier to move and get mowers to fit for checking heights and cut, plus no cables on the floor to have to position your oil drain tray on.

I have been doing this for a long time. We got a GL-9 in 2000 and is a knee saver. Never had a problem with this lift, works on all of our equipment. Great buy. Any lift is a plus to your shop. I would have been done a long time ago with out a lift my knees are shot from kneeling and standing up all the time. Lifts are a must have. Good luck.

Being partial to Trion, as I helped design and field test it I have to say go with them. The Golf lift is a good lift but it does need a reinforced floor under the posts and loads have to be balanced. the Trion doesn't need any special flooring just flat and level. As for the cross bar If you go to the Turfpride USA website and click on the trion logo you can see some photos of it in action. I hope this helps. Ed Ward

I have had the good fortune to have 5 years experience with the Golf Lift and 7 years with an older Trion, and if I was setting up a new shop I would choose Trion every time. If possible I would set it up so you could drive equipment through.
