Does anybody have experience with Hunter Genesis irrigation software? If so what do you think of it.

What version.   I have Version 3.1.27 from 2004.  It'll die here.  To replace controllers(10) and interface would be 100K. If you need any help, please email me.

You can install in house a toro RDR system  for an 18 hole course for less than 60k.

This really depends on how many heads you have. The Osmac system was around $90,000 for my course. I did not look into the RDR system. I am looking for total control of my heads on my course and the thing about the Lynx system I am looking at that moves me in that direction is the two way communication between the controllers and the central system. When I look at my central in the morning I get a true reading of what watered and what did not. I have know of issues where a superintendent may not of known a controller was not working until grass started turning brown. Trusting to the system. Osmac does not have the two way communication.

I have been using Genesis software for 20 years now. It is very simple to use once you get all your controllers entered into the system and setting up and changing programs is so simple. I currently have version 3 and really like it. The only downfall is it only works on Windows XP or you have to download software special software for Genesis to run on Windows 7, 8, or 10. My Windows 7 computer dies last fall and have a Windows 10 computer now but cannot get software to run without compatability software to make it work.  I want to upgrade to a newer controller and software like Toro, but just too expensive right now.
