Wow! Someone flagged something, or called headquarters, but this thread doesn't make sense anymore.

    Tom,

You started a great thread, then it obviously got out of hand. Why don't you copy your original post and save it in a Word doc. Then....GCSAA should simply delete this entire thread. You can start a new one with your identical beginning post.

Seriously.....this thread isn't even readable now. I've counted over 20 deletions from what? 34 posts?

Headquarters? What do you think? Clear this entire topic and let Tom start over? Tom, would that work for you?

    Jeff

Direct Quote from "Larry, the Cable Guy"

"Even after the Super Bowl victory of the New Orleans Saints,
I have noticed a large number of people implying, with bad jokes,
that Cajuns aren't smart. I would like to state for the record that I
disagree with that assessment. Anybody that would build a city
5 feet below sea level in a hurricane zone and fill it with
Democrats who can't swim is a genius."

Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in Our Country lately: Illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida . .. .. . Not me -- I concentrate on solutions for the problems -- it's a win-win situation.
    * Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.
    * Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levees.
    * Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.

Any other problems you would like for me to solve today?
    Think about this:
    1. Cows
    2. The Constitution
    3. The Ten Commandments

    COWS
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

    THE CONSTITUTION
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq ....
why don't we just give them ours?
It was written by a lot of really smart guys,
it has worked for over 200 years,
and we're not using it anymore.

    THE 10 COMMANDMENTS
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this --
you cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal'
'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery' and
    'Thou Shall Not Lie'
in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians,
it creates a hostile work environment.

I've got two posts on this topic and neither have been deleted. HA!

Probably surprises at least one person in particular on this Forum.

Did this particular posting set any records for most deletions in a single thread? That question almost sounds like it could be an award category but I don't want to give Red any encouragement for future postings.

Jeff: as far as copying and reposting the initial thread and starting over I am almost afraid to. Even I got one of those "you have been a bad boy and we have deleted your message" messages.

They call you a "bad boy"? They call me an "obnoxious jerk". Your messages seem more polite. I'm starting to shed tears. Why are they being so cruel to me?

You do realize that we're both hijacking your own thread, right?

I wouldn't be so smug. I've just reported you on your last 200 posts. You are SO getting deleted.

Heck I don;t even remember my reply that got deleted. Being a can't we all get along type of guy I see no reason to be edited.

    What?

Okay. Call me or text me with the person's name. But do not give that info to Cajun Dave. I gave him my cell number and SS number about a week ago. He told me that he wanted to use those numbers for Powerball, and I'd get half of anything he won. Now I'm getting calls from Gator Bank and Trust, Swamp People Credit Union, and over 30 calls from area code 225, all asking if 666-66-6666 was really my SS number. I asked him about that, and he said that he only told 18 people, and they all promised to never tell anyone else.

It's a good thing I didn't give him my real SS number. That 666 is from some guy near Stockton, Ca. That first 6 denotes the city of birth, and when combined with two more sixes, the combination represents something entirely different. I know I've seen 666 before, but for the life of me, I can't remember its meaning. What I do remember is that it was tattooed on some kid's head in a movie. His name was Damien.

Pete, do you know anyone from Manteca with the last name of Thorn?

Tom, this thread is now Hijack City until they take it down. I've never hijacked before. I'm a newbie, having just joined GCSAA a couple of months ago. Man, this is fun. Do all of you old guys enjoy this forum? Yes? That's so cool. You can wear Depends for Men, and still enjoy your life. Have you considered upgrading your rotary phones? Go slow. First get a phone you can hang on the wall. Then get a really long extension cord. From there, a 10 pound phone that isn't actually connected to the base. Then.....we're talking about a lot of options. Call me if you get confused. Because, let's admit it, you old guys DO get confused. I can help, because I'm young.

Hijack away Jeff. I can't really expect anything else from such a juvenile errrrr young man such as yourself. Out of curiosity, was that DOB you posted chronological age or maturity date? I am thinking you are giving yourself too much credit if it is the latter.

No, why? Are you trying to get free golf or something?

Well, maybe I do. Is he that guy that's always in my side?

So, anyway, I'm not sure if I do or not. Why do you ask?
