Looking to see if anyone is currently using the Baroness Bunker Rake. I looked at it at the Trade Show and was impressed with the features and the ability to get good access to the machines components. If you have one what is your opinion?

I demoed one a while back, and I have to say that it produced a better finished product than any other bunker rake I have ever seen. It also did really well leveling and smoothing in fewer passes than I would expect.

You can get financing through other sources. I am surprised they did not set it up for you.

I was also surprised. My only problem with getting our own financing is that I have to go through the BOD at my club and one of those guys will have to aquire the financing. While they do their job, they can be slow about getting some things done.

We had one here a few years ago for a demo as well and it did an excellent job. Our rakes weren't due for replacement yet but I do remember looking at the rear rake attachment and thinking it could be fairly easily installed on most other bunker rakes. It looks similar to a sleeve hitch style hookup on a garden tractor. Might be an option if what you have now is worth rebuilding.

My current 12yr old sand pro is a Toro 5040 and has done great for its duration. The Baroness just looks more operator and mechanic friendly and cost about $3,000-$5,000 less.
