Check with Rodney Lingle CGCS at Memphis CC - he did some diamond zoysia work about 3-4 years ago.

we sprigged our greens with Diamond in May 2012, came from a sod farm in South Carolina. Contact John Brown of New Life Turf. Great guy, very smart, highly recommend this type of grasss. I imagine the divots on the tees will fill in painfully slow though

I have a diamond zoysia green. Great grass. Does well in shade, but I imagine as a tee it would not recover very quickly as Dustin Jennings said.

The Cliffs at Mountain Park is using Diamond Zoysia for its tees and while it does handle the elements well, they are having recovery issues with divots; esp on their driving range tee which end with sod replacement.
