Overseed a range landing area?

    If balls are being picked twice a day, I can imagine overseeding, even lightly, will be a messy encounter for the ballwasher/ pickers, etc? How succesful did the seed take with that traffic from the picking process? How did you go about the process? Need to close? Pick balls only when turf surface is dry? Any experiences you've had would be appreciated.

    In the past, when we overseeded, we would just tell the picker to make straight passes with no turns unless in the rough. It worked fine and the seed came up no problem. No issue with mess either as the guys wash their balls before putting them back in the machine anyways.
