    30 HP VFD with 2 grease zirks but no info on what type of grease to use.
    Any thoughts?

    Very easy to overgrease an electric motor. Its definitely a case where less is best. As noted above, the motor manufacturer's recommendations are gospel.

    Agree. Had an overly eager mechanic that greased ours once a week. When it failed, the pump guy said it was from over-greasing. 1-2 pumps of grease a year is all it takes.

    Although this is titled vfd grease, I'm sure we're talking motor and pump...so my question is how much grease for the motor and how much for the pump fitting below the motor

    one to two squirts per grease fittings once a year. This is a better question for the manufacturer of the motor.
