   We have a hole with a blind shot into a fairway landing area that is causing problems for golfers. I have heard bells and periscopes being used in this situation. I am looking for any other ideas that have been explored in the past.

   I have seen a large mirror at the tee box, angled to show the players in the blind location. Worked well and I would think, fairly cheap.

   I have seen ads for stop light type things. When you leave the tee you press a button and it turns the red light on. When you leave the landing area you press a button and it turns the light green.

   Don't use a bell. You know how many times a day it will get rung? Any homes nearby and they will get sick of it in a hurry.

   We have a buzzer that is mounted in a small box inside of the nearby flower bed. There is a button over the hill off to the side of the fairway. They press it, the buzzer goes off and the next group knows they cleared. it is powered off of 110 volts and i just pulled the power off of an irrigation satellite and then pulled a wire from the button to the buzzer box.    At Pinehurst, they have a video camera mounted in a tree focused on the landing area. On the tee there is a small monitor which shows the landing area.
