   We fabricated some drag chains that bolt onto the back of our fairway units. They have arms that can be folded up for transport to the next hole. They do a great job for cleaning up light to moderate clippings.

   Are you guys talking about netting? What about these chains? I have used netting before and they needed alot of clean up. I would be interested in hearing more about the chain system.

   We built a couple out of 2" SCH 80 PVC, 1/2" Nylon rope and heavy logger chain. We pull ours behind a cart, then throw it in the back of a cart for transport.
   
   If you want a drag net behind a mower, I know of guys that have built there own using old tennis court net. Just be careful about the added weight behind the mower, may damage some internal parts. That's the reason why we drag using an additional guy.

   I use the buffalo blower as soon as they are dry. It's noisy but fast.

    I have seen a buffalo blower on a trailer hitch attached to the fairway mower. I think you're limited to mowing half and half but it works like a charm according to the people I know who do it. I think an added benefit of this method would be you could blow leaves and mow all with one operator which would be nice the time of year, I think.

    Here are a few pictures of our chain setup. Having three chains gives us good coverage across the entire swath.
