I believe I've seen one of these before but can't seem to find it in any of the common catalogs. Par Aide has the hole cleaner to get water out but I'm looking for one to clean up the loose material at the bottom of the new hole before setting the cup. Been having issues with too much material in the bottom that the flagstick can't get placed in all the way causing crooked sticks which I absolutely hate! Anyone know where I can find such a tool? Or other suggestions? Rather not have to use hands and risk damaging the edges of the hole.

    Thanks,
    Justin

cut the hole deeper with a 2 cut method unless you are using the hole in one

If you are only worried about the sand where the ferrule goes into the cup, have your setup guy take a soil probe with him. After he gets the cup set, he can pull the sand right out of the hole with the larger soil probe. Just thought you might already have one of those on hand.
