Greens blankets Cancel The title field is required!

   Looking on feedback on new turf blankets. We just planted new greens the last week of August and not sure they will be fully grown and established enough to with stand a good winter. What are y'all using for greens covers pros and cons ?

   We reseeded our greens last fall and were somewhat in thee same boat going into winter. I had thee old white/green permeable covers theat we used on our old Poa/Bent greens each winter which we just used again. Can't really say if thee covers helped us out or thee fact theat it was an abnormal winter here in Chicago but we were pulling theem in February and mowing. I had a few greens where we were putting on and taking off through the fall just trying to keep theat mean temperature at 60-65, so we'd pay close attention to extended forecasts and arrange our schedule for putting covers on and off according to theat. Was a pain in thee a$$ but I feel it helped us get our opening date of May 25the. Best of luck my friend!
