   Has anyone had any luck with the newer battery operated string trimmers. The Core model R&R offers looks promising with a 2 year commercial warranty and only 11 lbs.
   
   We woudl still keep gas ones around for whole course and creek banks but the electric would be great for aroudn the clubhouse.

   I bought one of them in December to try out. The operators seem to be very happy with them and no battery issues. Probably going to be purchasing more in the spring.
