For those with groomers, what heights are you running on bermuda fairways? This is our first year using groomers on our common bermuda fairways in Oklahoma and it seems that we've had some sort of issues with them almost every week. We are grooming approximately .050 below HOC. Numerous belts have broken and even had a bolt shear from them locking up. We have brought them up out of the way for the time being until we can figure out how to use them properly. Are guys using them throughout the growing season, or only certain times of year? I figured we'd run them all season long, and so far, they've been more of a pain than there worth.
Our groomers on tees are also set .050" below HOC and haven't had any issues with them thus far.
