Yellowing spots on Bentgrass greens

    Has anyone seen small half dolloar spots that are yellow on Bentgrass greens. I'm located in western ky. Started showing up first of July. Has been very wet and humid. Any thoughts would be appreciative. etiolation possible but have been told that they look to small for that.

    Have them on my greens almost every year and usually can get rid of them with two apps of daconil action at 3.5oz rate 10-14 days. The spots i have don't cause any damage to the turf at all, they are just unsightly. Feel free to call 4797905031 if this sounds similar to what you are dealing with.

    without seeing a picture, it sounds like yellow tuft. not a whole lot you can do, but it also doesnt cause much damage. I think subdue maxx is labeled for it and is ok at treating it.

    i have the same thing on bent grass greens in South Carolina. Yellow spots, 1-2" in diameter, primarily in heat stress. I believe it is Curvularia. Like you said, it can be knocked out with a couple of rounds of contact fungicides. I have not ever seen it take turf, it just gives it a spotty, ugly look.
