Help!! After a month of working with Hunter representatives there is still no answer as to where I can obtain any part or parts for the Hunter Genesis Controllers. I need face packs and traid boards immediately! Does anyone have any information that may help. New or used parts are acceptable, I just need a source. I spent $5K last year with boardtronics repairing my equipment and over half of the items returned still don't work. My satellites are radio operated & extremely rare. Please anyone.......

    Lucas,

Give Kevin at Irrigation & Turf Equipment in Iola Kansas a call. There number is 888-365-2121. You can also check out there website www.irturf.com. The website is showing that he has some brand new Hunter Genesis radio controllers available. He might also have some parts for them.

As I recall that controller was identical to one that was very popular in California under a different name. I don't remember the name of the company, but back in the day they only sold brass impact heads. People were buying their controllers, but getting their heads from another company. The controllers were bulletproof. Everyone I saw that experienced them went back to them.

Yes, Buckner. A former company I worked for managed a course with an ancient Buckner Control System. Any time an electromechanical face plate died, we replaced it with a new solid state Buckner face plate. It was amazing how the new face plates fit right into the old boxes and even the connections were the same.

We have the hunter genesis controllers as well and use this company to get us the parts When you call ask for Tom Novak. I'm not sure of your location but they ship through UPS so it shouldn't matter.
Don't forget that all parts for the controllers are guaranteed for 5 years.

Thank you for the leads fellas. It's amazing that every hunter rep. I talked to had no information on where to obtain any part what so ever. The only advice I got was to buy new pedestals. You guys have given me options! Thanks again.

    James,

Thank you for the tip. Tom took care of me and I now have a new contact. However, I wanted to let you know that Tom was a little confused as to who you may be. He was happy he was recommended from this site all the way across the nation but couldn't put a face to your name. Again, thanks for the tip and be sure Tom knows it was you.
