    Hello all
Just purchased a new sprayer for greens. My old one was a Toro Mlti pro that I am planning to hang on to to use for herbicides and such.
My question is this, is it possible and has anyone ever used a sprayer to apply a saline solution to your parking lot for the purpose of controlling ice, similare to the DOT does?
    Crazy?
    Thanks

save money use a Vicon or(?) and do granual. If you use the sprayer just clean well after and you will be okay. BUT I would contact your supplier first to be on the safe side.

    Michael,

I haven't done it but have thought about it quite a bit. I know it is expensive but I would use a Calcium Chloride product. It would be safer for surrounding plants and melts ice down to a lower temperature. After all it is used in concrete to keep it from freezing when pouring in cold weather.
