Any ideas to correct this problem? I have check miro switches, SV 1 and SV3 valves. Power to theses valves OK. The unit worked fine the day before. Help would be appreciated.

Bob, We had similar issue with ours and ended up being switch under seat...the switch had some corrosion inside which signaled it to go into backlap mode. I had 1st thought same thing with valve box under feet like you had tested. It may be something else but try the mow/backlap switches.

Steven, All backlap switches checked good. Still checking for the problem, Toro rep hasn't helped. Anyone got a idea?

Hi Bob, long time. Call the National Service Manager at Toro Corporate. I always found an answer there.

My mechanic says there are three solenoids right side of dash and one of these controls the front cutters. This or fuses, if there is power no fuse problem.

    Un saludo Michael

NEXT TO THE TRACTION PEDAL IS THE MOW STOP BAR THAT YOU FLIP UP TO CONTROL MOW SPEED. CHECK THE PROXIMITY SENSOR FOR THE MOW STOP BAR IT COULD BE BAD OR JUST OUT OF ADJUSTMENT.

Zach, sure enough it was the trans/mow selector. This unit has not been using this selector for over 2 1/2 years. Mow adjusters have been removed. The selector got moved to the transport position. I think it was moved by one of the new employee that had been using a 5610 with the selector properly setup. Lesson learned, the hard way! Thanks for the advise everyone!
