   What insecticide seems to work best in controlling ABW on poa/bent greens? I sprayed preventatively with Acelepryn but had some breakdown I suppose. I battled 3 generations last year and would like end it with one this year.

   Thomas. This year my first spray was chloropyrifos at 1.5 oz/1000 my next 2 sprays I use aloft at 8 oz/acre. and I am at a all bentgrass course yet those little sucker chowed down. lol. I fought them all last year.

   So far their just eating my poa collars and green edges. I used Dylox to knock them down and plan on using Aloft for the 1st time next.

   well now they are in my fairways. they are chowing on the poa and havent started on the bent yet. I hammered them with 20 oz/acre of aloft as a spot treat. those buggers were coming out of the ground in a hour. my collars have never looked better since I started with the aloft.
