Just wanted to recognize the outstanding efforts by past GCSAA President Marks Kuhns and all his staff and volunteers during the recent PGA Championship. I know they were in the spotlight for much of the week but they did an outstanding job responding to the ever changing weather conditions. Hard to believe the event ever had any chance to get completed on Sunday but somehow they pulled it off. The efforts of everyone at Baltrusol definitely put a positive image on the efforts it takes to meet the challenges all superintendents might face on a daily basis. It also demonstrated the dedication it takes on a daily basis to meet those challenges and continue to move forward. I think all superintendents will benefit from all the positive press received by Mark, his staff and all the volunteers there last week. Thanks.
