Dog neglect Cancel The title field is required!

   I consult occasionally at a privately owned public golf course and I am witnessing dog neglect.
   
   The son of the original course owner bought a Black Lab pup and when the dog was no longer a pup he passed the animal care onto the maintenance staff. The dog lives in a 5 foot by 10 foot pen inside the shop and gets out maybe twice a day and spends the other 23.5 hours in that pen.
   
   A Lab is a social dog and I think deserves better. I hate it that there are careless, thoughtless people in the world and that a dog has to live such a crappy life such as this.

   Do something ! You may want to ask if they would like to give the dog to someone else. If so help find a new owner, maybe one with kids (kid+dog=slice of dog heaven). If not maybe get authorities involved, not sure if anything currently is against any laws. Good luck and keep us posted.
