I am looking for any information concerning building a pre-mix tank for our course. I would like to use it to mix our fairway fertility program before loading it into our 300-gal sprayer. Any resources would be appreciated.
    Thx.

    Chris,
At the last 5 courses that I worked at, I had a 800 gallon mix tank from A.D. Williams (adwsprayers@msn.com). The last one that I purchased was right around $3500. Very aggressive agitation. Urea, FeSO4, KNO3 what ever you want to throw in the mix. I can not go without having one.

I use a smaller (100 gallon) setup with an eductor tank setup. I mix a concentrate and then top the 300 gal sprayer off with water. It's fairly compact and mounted on a pallet so I can move it around. I bought the pieces from Chemical Containers and put it together myself. It's powered by a 220v irrigation pump that I bought at Home Depot.

I had this mix station custom built by AD Williams. it is 1000 Gallons with an inductor for easy loading. The best feature is that I had 2 pumps installed. A Gas powered pump for mixing and transferring while on the course and an Electric pump with equal pumping capacity to keep product in solution overnight. Call Matt or Scott at AD WIlliams and they can build just about any mix station that best suits your site.
