Toro 780 Drives Cancel The title field is required!

   I have a lot of 780 heads on my course, 5 per green (perimeters) and quite a few on my tees. Normally I would just buy 855S Conversion assemblies since its only $15 more than a new 780 drive but due to a mainline break back in June my irrigation budget is shot. Just wondering if anyone has any alternative sources for the drives.

   I have been converting to the DT55 series from our 780 series, a little cheaper than the 850 but there are not as many bells and whistles.

   Do you really need that much adjustability in the nozzle angle? The DT55 gives you two different angles where the 855 gives you several. Not really that big a deal unless you have a very specific application for needing to adjust the trajectory.

   What are you guys doing with the 780 parts you take out? If your looking to get rid of them, let me know. I use Sports Turf alot on various parts, great company and pretty fast getting you the products.

   I use the old drive parts to repair my other 780 drives on the course.
