Will MSM control Poa? I used simazine the past four years on non overseeded Bermuda and as expected, the first couple of seasons it worked awesome and now I am seeing resistance. In the past I would spray glyphosate during a January or February thaw and would be clean. After this year's snow and now rain I may be too wet to spray for a while. I don't want to delay greenup with glyphosate so I am thinking of spraying MSM when we dry up. Poa is not on the label but obviously with it being a Sulfonyl Urea it should kill Poa right? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Revolver may be too costly for me unless I can kill small to midsize Poa with maybe a 5 oz/Acre rate?

Certainty or Kerb will work. I have used Certainty on my Bermuda greens several times and getting ready to spray them soon.

    No.

Try Reward. Will burn off any green Bermuda, but will green back up in a few weeks.

Whatever you use add some Specticle preemergent in the tank. It will ding the poa by itself as well. I cleaned up my Bermuda with Kerb and Specticle.
Amazing results that are long lasting. Great for goose grass too.

MSM is a great herbicide. It controls most broadleaves, ryegrass, and tall fescue. The only downsides are that it is very slow and it is not very effective (in my experience) for removing poa annua or bentgrass.
