A few years ago we switched our equipment new and old to bio oils to reduce the damage from leaks mainly but also because our new equipment came that way.

The bio oil helps but the grass still dies and stays dead for some time so it is not a panacea.

We are considering switching our old machines back to mineral oil just for the cost savings. Has anyone else done this? Did the hydraulic systems have any trouble adjusting?

David there are some specific procedures when switching between chemistries, and also available are actual flushing oils designed for this very practice. I would be happy to share info with you if you like, just shoot me an e-mail and I would be happy to forward info.
