    Hi all;
    After airifiing last week, I have a fox digging up one of my greens. I have tried an ultrasonic pest chaser that worked for one night but it was back last night. Any thoughts on how to keep the fox away from the green?
    Thanks;

    Had the same thing happen here, a family of foxes' live within 100 yards of a green. Used 12 hex plugs to repair the damage. Would also like to hear thoughts or ideas.

    I had a family of foxes that lived on the golf course. They started digging out the cups at night. We finally had to live trap them and relocate them. They sure can do some damage when they get digging.

    20 years ago in Washington State on a course I was at we had many foxes, they never got into the greens but at times did get bunker of two, they would play like kids in the sand. They would follow me around in the morning and watch me change cups, sometimes I could get with-in feet of them. Of course could have been the dog kibble I would feed them on the collars. We did use a lot of sulfur back then on the greens and this kept insects down and dogs cats and fox of the greens at least for digging. The members in the AM loved them, I hope they are still around the area.

    Cayenne or White Pepper.

    Seriously. It works. For dogs, cats, foxes....

    We had a family of red foxes last year and they dug up our bunkers mostly, but there were a couple spots on the collar and greens edges they dug on. I relieved myself on these areas and it seemed to take care of it.

    Milorganite works on deer some times I am not sure if it will work on foxes.

    We had 'em digging up our newly renovated bunkers this year. One of my guys suggested moth balls. He sprinkled some in the bunkers and it worked great.

    I've had coyotes and foxes dig up bunkers down to the drain lines--scattered gravel all through the sand and tore it up pretty good. Get some high powered cayenne pepper off the internet and make a shaker. We will rim the entire bunker with the pepper--they might come back once, but not twice. Don't know if you could make this work on a green.
