Out of curiosity, how many of you guys or your spray techs have gone on to get your commercial applicators license and make applications for homeowners? I know of several who have and have considered it myself. Any advice?

I have my Pest Control Operators License as wells as my Restricted Use Pesticide License. I use it since I sometimes apply and advise applications for areas around our homes and commercial structures. It also covers any application I make around the clubhouse. As for a second job, I personally don't have the time to do it. I honestly would advise against having your spray tech do it though, since equipment, insurance, etc..could become costly and in the long run you may not only lose a spray tech, but chemicals as well.

In Florida you can do it with a DACS License as long as the property owner buys the pesticide,
