Has anyone used Monocarbamide Dihydrogensulfate to treat their irrigation water? We have a situation where I have serious scale built up and holding on to the inside of our irrigation lines. It will break off and clog heads to the point were they completely stop functioning. We're looking at products such as pHix, pHairway and N-pHuric all having the same ai. In a test jar it appears to work great by changing the suspended solids back to a soluble form. I would be interested in anyone's experience with the product and what results they may have encountered....Thanks, Jeff Righter

Hi Jeff, I have used something similar to N-furic acid for a lot of years now and it does keep the pipes clean. You may have to deal with a great deal of head cleaning when you first start with it as it breaks down the scale but once that is out of the way, you should be good to go

I agree with Larry. We use our system to keep the pipes clean. Once the system is clean we use it when we start to see problems with the small garden heads. It does contain quite quite a bit of nitrogen so take that into consideration. I think it's about 15% N.
