Anybody have slit drains installed by this company? They have an extensive portfolio and it looks like a good solution for my problem green.

    Regards,

    Steve

They cut slits and install perf pipes in them is what I'm looking at.
I have a tiny little green that is shaped like a peanut, sloped back to front, bunkers left and steep slope right so all of the traffic goes across the front of it. It's 30 years old and has never been rebuilt and the front is like a dish. I think whatever drainage there was gave up the ghost a couple years ago and we have struggled with it ever since.

    Steve,

XGD does amazing work and they build it to last 20+ yrs. Amazing company and Mark Luckhardt is one heck of a guy.

If you have them drain your green, it will be the best decision of your life! Can't go wrong!!

    Steve,

I have worked with Geoff Corlett for the past 8 years. While at The Alotian Club in Arkansas, they installed a few thousand feet of XGD in wet areas on the fairways. These areas went from not drivable for a couple days after a rain event to being able to put a cart on it less than two hours after a 2" rain. They specialize in what you need. Give them a call.

    Jim

For anyone who has not seen the process, here is a video. It's a different company than TDI but the process is the same. TDI is so busy stateside that they have become almost un bookable here.
I think TDI uses an orange solid perforated tile an apposed to the corrugated 2" in perf in this video but the process is the same. A 6000 square foot green is back in play in 3 days or less.
Can't seem to make the youtube direct link so click below
