I have gravel/roadcrush cart paths. After heavy rains 3 or 4 of the ones on hills wash away and then we spend the time repairing them.

Any suggestions on how to keep them from washing down the slope?

    Asphalt or concrete.

Deep fryer oil spread with a drop spreader not only keeps dust down but turns the gravel into an asphalt like surface.

I volunteered at Erin Hills during the US Open and they were using a product from Kafka Granite. It seemed to hold up the night they got hit with a pretty heavy rain. It wasn't something you put on existing gravel though, so it's not a quick fix if that's what you were looking for.
