Pro gator 2020 mis fires Cancel The title field is required!

   Our pro gator 2020 A is a 2003 gas model and mis fires, back fires and sometimes even cuts out when idling. We have done all the suggestions in the troubleshooting guide and nothing has worked. Would appreciate any suggestions.

   Yanmar gas engine? If so, pull the intake pipe off the top of the carb and see if there is a stream of fuel being delivered from the accelerator pump. If so, the pump is faulty, delivering too much fuel. It should only squirt fuel during acceleration. I just went through this a few months ago.

   I would also recommend checking your coils. Those were awful for that. Bad connections after they get older and if you recently changed the plugs chances are you pulled the boots apart and the end of the coil wire. I had to just replace the entire coil pack of 3 and problem was solved. Not saying that's it, but something to check along with Roland's suggestion.

   Thanks for the replies, we finally figured it out. We replaced the pulser trigger coil part # M810618 and it is now working perfect.
