Has anyone used R&R 11blade reels in 2500's. The cost difference between JD and theirs are not even close. Replacing 6 this year and every dollar helps.

    thanks

R&R reels are of lower quality material than OEM reels. They work just fine but seem to lose their sharpness quicker, work ok for tee or approach mower and can save you some money. If you use their reels then use their bedknife as well. Here we don't use them for greens or fairways simply because it becomes a lot more work for Tech and they wear out faster.
