    Nashville,
    Dining:

City House(not in east nashville like mentioned above. Germantown actually. Right by downtown)
    Kayne Prime
    Jimmy kelly's
    Husk
    Rolph and daughters
Hattie B's(i like it better than prince's)
Burger Up or Parmacy for a burger
    Flyte
    The Southern

    Stay at Omni

    Visit Yazoo or Jackalope Brewery

Have a drink at the rock bottom rooftop bar

Visit printers alley. Its cool but nothing worth staying too long for.

The gulch is really cool and nice for shopping/eating.

See a show at ryman auditorium.

Check the TPAC schedule. They are getting a lot of good top notch plays/comedians.

Jonathan waxman just opened a new restaurant called Adele's in the gulch but i haven't heard any reviews.

If you can get a reservation(probably to late) and want to shell out five hunnid for the anniversary dinner(flat fee) go to catbird seat.

If you are coming the first weekend in sept, hit up Live On The Green. Good artists. Free show on the riverfront.

    MORE NASHVILLE
Hilton is on Broadway and 4th. Right in the middle of all Broadway action. Connected to Bridgestone Arena. May be an event there the weekend you visit.

    Areas of note to visit:

East Nashville/Germantown: hipster area that is being turned over. Several cool restaurants (City House, Tree House)

8th Ave.: Couple great craft beer bars (ML Rose especially)

12 South: a few great restaurants and bars. Urban Grub, 12 south tap room, don't waste your time with Burger Up.

The Gulch: Kayne Prime is great. Whiskey Kitchen is a decent bar. English Pub down there looks cool but it blows. Pour House is not bad.

Downtown: Roberts Western World, tootsies, the stage, and legends are all great music. House guitar player at Robert's is a 19 year old named Daniel Donato. He's one of the best up and coming guitarists in the country. You can check him out on YouTube.

Merchants is a great/cool restaurant downtown. Impossible to get a table.

The Southern is fantastic and should be on your list. Awesome scene. Awesome food.

Printers Alley is a must see if you've never been before. It's a Mardi gras section of bars in an alley between Church and Union south of Third.

21st Ave/Hilsboro Village is cool. Satco is a great place to eat Tacos and drink buckets of beer on the patio. Pancake Pantry is way over rated and you will have to get there at 6am unless you want to wait in line for 90 minutes. If I was going to take somewhere for breakfast I would go to Noshville. It's a New York deli that has great food and atmosphere. Tons of local celebs and musicians hang out there. I saw Robert Plant there a few months ago. They have an incredible Bloody Mary bar that hits the spot in the mornings.

Take your wife to the square in downtown Franklin. She'll love you for it if she likes boutique shopping. Several great restaurants there as well. 55 south is damn good even though an ole miss guy owns it. Also Cork and Cow is great.
