Not with anthracnose, that I know of, but about 15, maybe 16 years ago, we worked with a company that was marketing a product called "Xpo," my spelling my be off a bit. "Xpo" (Xanthemonas campestris)) was supposedly the bacteria that causes bacterial wilt in poa annua. Theory was that if you could intentionally introduce bacterial wilt you could take out the poa and not harm the bent.
We'd ship it packed in dry ice, and the Super was supposed to get it sprayed within a few days. Super was to mow the greens first, creating an entry wound for the "Xpo," then immediately spray, getting it into the plant that way.
It's not for sale anymore, as far as I know. Some things work great in the laboratory.
