I am doing some research on Quali-Pro and wanted to ask if anyone has used any of their products. If so, how did it react when applied to your course? Even if you haven't used it yourself, what have you heard about their products? Any type of feedback that could be given would be great!

    Thanks,

    Zack

Have used Quali-Pro for a few years, mostly propiconazole and seems to work as well as Banner. Less expensive and our sales service is quite good. Quali-Pro did winter snow mold testing here with some 3-way combinations that worked great and will be available here in Canada soon.

We use some of Quali-Pro products here in Oklahoma. We have used there propiconazole, mefenoxam, and there chlorothalonil fungicides and they seem to be just as good as the real deal. We have also used there T-nex growth regulator and it works just as good as primo. I would say go for it. Good results and better on your budget.

Ditto as the rest. Just as good as the name brand. Also love their Foursome.

Love their products, they actually invest in university research too. Not many generics do that. One of their reps told me they actually make some of the name brand products for the big guys. Not sure how true that is but have always had good results!

If you ever need an environmental lawyer:
    http://www.gtlaw.com/People/KerriLBarsh

I hired her when I was in Miami, and she dominated the case against me with precision, shock and awe. I love her!

She was retained by DuPont to defend them against damage to ferns caused by Benlate. She asked me what I thought about the case. I told her that I thought it would be difficult to convince a Central Florida Jury that all of these fern growers forgot how to grow ferns all at the same time, especially when the only common denominator was that they had sprayed Benlate.

You hear from the chemical producers who do not concentrate on generics that the generic producers will not come to your aid if there is a problem. It has been my experience that the ones who do not concentrate on generics do not come to your aid either.

I have used quail pro products in the past and probably will in the future, but I think there is some value to be had by spending your money with the big companies that invest in basic research. As far as I can tell, none of the generic companies is spending any money on developing new products in an industry that is rapidly losing chemicals to environmental or political concerns. All the generics do is cash on the research that the big companies did years ago.

    Regards,

    Steve

    Steve,

I think you will find that that is the opposite of Quali Pro. They have a product coming out soon (I hope) that they have developed that will provide you with one more very important tool in your greens management program. I think you'll be biting your tongue once it it released.

Well,I hope you're right, but I still worry that a shift to cheaper at all cost will cost us dearly in the end. It's the Walmart syndrome, you know?
