Question for all who have used the mentioned products. Has anyone seen a control difference when they have had the opportunity to use both before?
Any issues mixing with Round-up or a generic?
    How about generic Barricades?

    Thanks!

    Mel,

Last season I used Barricade 4F and had great results. Year before last I used generic 65WDG and had equally as good results.

Reason for the switch was I could get a better price through syngenta's early order wit hthe 4F link pack versus the generic case size.

I see no difficulty in tank mixing with round up. The generic was from Advan makers of Echo (post patent chlorothalonil).

Only downside I have seen from the 4F is the product settling out on the shelf. I had ordered some drums to do two applications, 90 days apart. First app went out no problem, second app we got horrible control. Of course, after about 6 weeks of complaints, the spray tech finally mentioned the consistency of the product during the second application was not the same as the first. So, my suggestion is that if you are going to order enough for a couple of apps, make sure it is stirred up real good before measuring out.

I have used both generic, wdg and flowable in the past and all gave the same results.

Used mostly the wdg but have used the f as well. Most in our area are mixing with roundup without any issues. Generic and or Syngenta products.

Used both 'F' and 'WDG' with equal results - like others depended which I could get at better price. Question for those mixing with glyphosate...what volumes are you spraying? With glyphosate I try to go out with low volumes...25gpa. With pre-emerge prefer at least 40gpa (would like more but takes better part of week even at this rate). So, long story short, do two sprays. Am overseeding t's and fairways so that reduces the number of glyphosate tanks and you can cover a lot more ground at those low volumes so it isn't as bad as it could be but would be nice to do both at the same time.

    Keith,

I went out today at 26 GPA for my GlyStar Pro application.
