Machine hours Cancel The title field is required!

   I need a bit of help convincing some Board Members the hours on my machines are excessive. If you don't mind, please list the average hours and age you replace the following units:
   
   1) Triplex greens mower
   
   2) Triplex tee mower
   
   3) Rotary rough unit (4500D or AR5)
   
   4) Rotary out front unit (Turfcat, Groundsmaster)
   
   5) Tractors
   
   6) Triplex reel rough unit (Toro 2000, Sidewinder)

   Bruce I think this is a tough question and I would not be surprised to see replacement hours all over the board. I think a lot depends on the level of maintenace kept on the machines, climate, terrain, and operator training. Here is a pdf from the USGA converting hours to miles. This seems to be a little more effective because it gives them something they can relate it to (their own car). I think this is a good start in creating the story on your equipment situation but also actual repair costs, labor, downtime, etc are important factors as well. Probably not what you were looking for but hope it makes sense / helps.
