Has anyone mixed the two as a soil drench. I'm looking to put out a preventative for pythium root dysfunction and anthracnose /summer patch

    Hey Larry,

How are things down the road? I don't think you'd get much Anthracnose coverage by watering in. I'd do them separately but then again what do I know in comparison to the brainerds on here LOL.

Things are good for a change....I wish the Brainerds on here would answer. Jeff must be in France consulting.

Been dealing with Pythium Root Dysfunction for years. Lane tredway recommended rotating Segway watered in, Insignia watered in, and Chipco Signature + Banol not watered in. I think you would be better off not watering your proposed spray for the target pests.

Thanks Keith, Lanes website is responsible for me figuring out what I was dealing with. Unfortunately we don't have Segway. But I do have the others. Its a nasty disease. Funny thing is I only get it on about 4 greens that I cleared out trees on a few years ago. The USGA greens section had an article last Friday about how greens, after tree removal, have to adapt as they have essentially been moved 200 miles south due to the increased sunlight. That basically puts them down in the Carolina's. It all started to make sense after reading the article

    Larry,
I have used a Banner and Banol combo for years as my first summer patch/ pythium root dsifunction spray. Never had an issue. I stay away from using PGR within 10 days either side of the application. Banner @ 4ozM and BAnol @ 3 ozM. drenched.

Thanks Peter, I ended up spraying them separately out of fear, but your post will save me a lot of time next year.
    Thanks again

I have found with products that are watered in for PRD that a light to moderate irrigation cycle works better than a "drench"
