   I have no experience with hiring H2B labor. Not many golf facilities here in Northern Michigan use them, although the farms and orchards around here do. My course owner is interested in pursuing this avenue.
   
   I am looking for any information I can get on the hiring process, costs, hourly rates. Also any good or bad experiences with both the process and the employees. Do you house them? None of my staff speaks spanish.

   With high unemployment it is a sad state of affairs when you have to look outside this great country to hire employees. What in the world has happened to our local workforce?

   That's my thought...why not have a van make the 4 hour trip to Detroit to pick up some of the local workforce there.
   Oh yeah...I forgot.
   They would rather sit around and collect some Obama money and make calls on their Obama phone.

   Sad but true Keith....I operate a course here in Dumas TX....Main Industries here are Cattle,Gas and Beef Processing. Government imports various 3rd world refugees to work in the Beef Processing Plant for the simple fact that "Americans" will NOT do the Labor...FACT!! Government provides housing for these people too, and Tax break incentives for the Corps also, along with wage subsidies. I can send you pics if you still don"t believe me. Truly Insane!!!
