Has anybody seen damage on poa from spraying quicksilver to control moss at the 6.7oz/a rate on greens. VA Mid atlantic area, push up greens.

On sand and soil with 40% poa and never gone above 2oz Acre with great control however I have seen damage or yellowing on an overlap (4 oz and Acre) always gone in a day or two.
My weather is a little warmier than yours year round.

I have always been nervous of the prospect of injury to poa at that label rate, and therefore never went above 4.0 oz/A at the initial application, and then followed that up with a 2.0 oz app every two weeks. I had never seen any injury from that program. The golf course was located in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.

I have sprayed quicksilver at the 6.7 oz rate on bent/poa greens and have never seen any damage to the poa. I just sprayed it yesterday at the 6.7 oz rate on greens and will put a second app down in two weeks.

Have sprayed it at the label rate on bent/poa sand greens in NJ where I would love to beat up the poa, but never had any reaction. Just watch if you use bensulide as the two chemistries do not work well
