Yes have been using if for most of 2011 and like what we are seeing. Pricing is good, at least in our area.

I used Redox throughout 2011 and was very impressed with all of the products, I really liked the Turf Rx Calcium, K+ and fairway. Redox Agronomist Dale Miller is one of the best.

Used Redox all of 2011 with great results. We used rxK, micro, supreme, c-85, CA and use the rootex product in spring and fall. Mixing is the only thing but I talked to my rep this past week and he told me they are working on it. He told me that they are going to get a mix for greens all in one bag like there fwy package. We bought a mortar mixing bit for our drill that works great. Sprayed everything at 1#/acre every 10 days or so. We are in oklahoma. Greens did very well with the heat and drought we had last year.

I was all Redox most of last year, went back to some Floratine, this year's plan is a mixture of the two. We bought a mix tank which makes it a lot easier. I love Rx Fairway with my growth regulator apps on tees, fairways, and approaches. I was able to spray just it and Primo last summer, no nitrogen or iron and they looked phenomenal. I also like their soil tests and it seems their support system from agronomists down to the reps is really strong, at least in my area.

I started adding in some Redox last year with great results. I now spray a hyrid Redox, Floratine, Foltec mix for my greens and have had the best results of my career. It boiled down to getting the plant what it needed easily and economically.

For those of you that are using the Redox products, are you also using their wetting agents? Have you tried their wetting agents? Any comments on their wetting agents?

Did not know they have a wetting agent. I have used their products for the past two seasons on our greens and have great results. They have gotten the dry materials easier to hydrate, we will pre mix in a bucket and use a mortar mixer on a drill to agitate until mixed thoroughly. Sometimes letting it sit over night in the bucket helps.

I am a believer that a wetting agent may work well for one person under certain conditions and not at all for another. I have tried several (10+) wetting agents here and found one that works very well for me. I would recommend checking out the guys at Ameriturf. I've used their products for years going back to when they were only doing fertigation custom blends. Now the distribute for several big companies as well as their own "proprietary" line of products. Here's a link to their wetting agent page

I use the Cycle at 4 oz with 1oz of Pervade (Floratine) and love it.

They also distribute Redox, Griggs, Qualipro, Aquatrols and Precision. Their in-house line is labeled under Green Industries and includes foliars, wetting agents, and pretty much whatever you want in the way of fertigation.

Used Redox Fairway, Iron, and Penecal with Uflexx at 3/4 lb for an N source on our Kentucky Bluegrass fairways last season. Fantastic results. Saw tighter denser turf and a greater root system. Another observation was the healing of irrigation repairs (which we have numerous!) was quicker than past years and areas not sprayed.
Have added the tees to the same program and am dropping the N to .5 lb per app. Also going to trial Redox on two practice greens this season as well as some winter preparation ideas for fairways/tees that Dale Miller has proposed.
Agree with the cost savings for us up here in Canada, allowed me to supplement weaker roughs with additional granular with the savings from fairway apps. Our sales rep is very knowledgable on the products and if not certain then Dale Miller of Redox is very supportive and can provide the informaton required.

John was the 3/4 lbs N all you applied for the season?

Hey TIm, the 3/4 lb. N was per app which we did every 4 weeks starting at the end of May. This meant 4 apps and 3 lbs. N for the growing season up here in Canada. As stated I'm knocking it back to .5 lbs. per app for 2 over the season and may try going down further on the advice of Dale Miller of Redox.

I know they do specific mixes for each customer, but what are some of the ballpark costs per acre? What is the N source everybody is using? What's the total cost per acre?

My cost up here in Canada for Rx Fairway, PeneCal, Rx Fe, and U-Flexx was approximately $100/acre. (I believe you can do a very basic program for around $85 but I use effluent water so have added a little bit) I was putting the Redox products down at the recommended rates of 4lbs/acre for Fairway, 2 oz/acre for Penecal, and 1lb/acre for Fe. The U-Flexx was my N source and its going down at .5lbs/1000 actual N. This is just one of many options for N and I have found it works great for me. Gives me a controlled release and lasts about 6 weeks so I do get a little bit of N overlap with my spray interval being 4 weeks. Any questions send me an email at john@springbanklinks.com.

Update: We have been using the Redox TurfRx Supreme at 2.5#/A and Uflex at 12.5/A on Tifdwarf interseeded with Poa trivialis for several weeks. The results have been excellent.

We've used Reedox products for past three seasons with excellent results. I do soil test yearly and using the recommendations of Dale Miller we tweak our program. On bentgrass fwys we apply a methylene urea fertilizer at 1.3lbs.N in the spring and use six applications of reedox products with either Amm. Sul or Urea at .1lbs.N. The cost per Acre is around $80.00. and greens around $100.00. The mixing of the products can be a little frustrating but last year we've started using the Cleanload Chemical Eductor and that has made life much easier. This year I'm looking into a 200-300 gallon high agitation mix tank. I believe there wetting agent your referring to is the product Penecal it's not only a surfactant but it also supplies calcium to the plant.
