First off how much do you have and where are you located? It can easily be hand knocked off with round up in small patches or just physically removed. Seashore Paspalum can easily refill the spots if very small. Larger areas is whole other issue and would depend on your location and weather conditions. Please give more information to get more ideas......

Gabriel,
I have much information about Sea Isle I and 2000 from Dr. Duncan, you may wish to try and contact him also. First off salt water will for sure take out the poa annua and do no harm to your paspalum. This can be done on the patches and once they are completely gone just a good soaking through a few times of the salt water will get rid of it. This works great on sand based greens or sandy soil and is the main method of weed control in many island based seashore paspalum courses, some of which must use this water to keep the turf alive during the dry season. When the rain comes it washes the salt out of the sandy soils. There are also many products that will work on paspalum I am going to put up a web page for you to get information it is australian based but has a chart for herbicides that are non-injurious to seaisle 1 turf. I hope this can help you. Bueno Suerte Amigo mi gusta paspalum mucho, es una excellente sacate.

I would try using Certainty. It is in the SU class of herbicides that usually smoke paspalum but we have had success on ours here. Dont ask the varriety, we have no idea where it came from. The local courses that have converted greens to SeaSpray also use the Certainty for poa control.
Good luck

Try 600 grams of table salt in 10 litres of water with a sticker after lunch , works a treat .
