I saw a video of a product used to help reduce the damage caused by carts at the beginning and end of cart paths. We are experiencing this problem and I cannot find the video or remember the name of the product. What are you guys using or doing to reduce this problem?

Check back in turfnet videos. I think I remember seeing something about it there. Permeable cartpath?

Hi, I am also interested in solutions for wear areas.

    I found this online http://www.turfnet.com/blog/3/entry-618 ... art-paths/

It is drivable grass. Not sure if used on any golf courses yet or its price per sq ft. If someone has other links please post.

    Thanks

I know my old boss got a product to put down that he saw I believe on turfnet for where golfers walked on and off the bridge to our island green. It always thinned out because everyone walked over the same area. It was a part artificial type product, where you put down and then seed into and the grass grows through it, but gives it better tolerance to all the traffic. I'll text him and see if he can give me the product name, could be something that might work for your problem.

This is he product we were looking to use. We never ended up using it due to needing a quick fix at the time in which we just sodded our area, but it is something that might be used there in the future. Might be something to look into trying out and seeing if it could help your problem.
